We help Black boys recognize what makes them special and explore where they want to go in life. This starts by reminding them that they matter.
Brother Box is on a mission to inspire young Black boys to dream big and embrace their authentic selves. Through small moments of encouragement, we join boys on that journey, reminding them that they are seen, supported and valued.
A single gesture or moment can change a life, whether a word of encouragement or the validation of being supported. At Brother Box, we know a small experience can have a big impact, and we exist to support the futures of Black boys everywhere.
Growing up is tough. It’s a constant fight between trying to be who you want to be and trying to fit in based on who others think you should be.
Supported by individuals and organizations donating their time, mentorship and resources, we exist to help Black boys recognize what makes them special and explore where they want to go in life.
And this all starts with reminding them that they matter.
I’m Taylor Culliver! I grew up in a small town in southern Alabama called Bay Minette.
I’ve been fortunate to always have a huge support system encouraging my individuality. I know that isn’t the case for everyone, especially for Black boys and girls.
So in a world that tends to put them in a very narrow box, it’s our job to do whatever small part we can to make sure the world sees them, supports them, and loves them for who they are.
Brother Box is my small part and I hope you’ll make it yours too!
